Concepts · Sanremo LINK

The espresso machine that talks to the grinder.

The Sanremo D8 Pro and the Mahlkönig E65W GbS grinder, connected by a single cable. On every extraction the machine sends the time it achieved and the grinder corrects its own grind. The result: consistent espresso all day, whatever the barista’s experience.

How it works.

01

The machine measures

On every shot, the Sanremo D8 Pro records the real extraction time, together with the recipe and the group used.

02

The data reaches the grinder

Over the Sanremo LINK connection, the last extraction time reaches the Mahlkönig E65W GbS instantly.

03

The grinder corrects itself

It compares that time against the recipe target and refines the grind setting until every extraction lands inside the intended parameters.

04

Control from the app

The data stays available in Mahlkönig Sync (mobile and desktop) for analysis, while the machine is managed from Sanremo Cloud.

The machine, in detail.

Premium AISI 316L boiler

Digitally adjustable working pressure — 1.0 / 1.2 / 1.4 bar — for the extraction profile each coffee needs.

Per-group temperature

Independent temperature control for each group, matched to the coffee being served.

Controlled pre-infusion

Manually activated, for finer control of the extraction and a more balanced cup.

Steam System with 6th Sense

Fully customisable automatic frothing that adapts to the volume of milk in the pitcher — plant-based drinks included.

Cold Touch steam wand

Double-walled steam wand, cool to the touch — safer and effortless to handle.

Consistent performance

High-performance volumetric pump — stable pressure even with every group working at once.

What it changes day to day

Why it matters for your business.

01

Consistency that keeps customers

The same taste in every cup, whoever is on shift.

Customers come back for the coffee they know.

02

Less pressure on staff

Experienced-barista results even with a team still in training.

A real advantage in a market where skilled staff are hard to find.

03

Higher throughput at peak

Automatic grinding and frothing speed up the flow at busy hours.

Without additional staff on shift.

04

The business under control, from anywhere

Volumes, filter status and real-time diagnostics from Sanremo Cloud.

Particularly useful across networks of several locations.

Sanremo Cloud

The machine can be managed in full, including remotely: temperatures, doses, pre-infusion, lighting or standby mode.

Barista

Adjustment of temperatures and recipes and real-time monitoring of the machine, from any location.

Manager

Detailed statistics and settings synchronised across the whole network of locations.

Remote support

Diagnostics and planned interventions without a site visit — less downtime.

Electrical connection in Romania

The 2-group version runs single-phase at 230 V and the 3-group version three-phase at 400 V — both on a dedicated circuit with earthing and RCD protection. We check the panel before delivery and specify exactly what needs preparing.

Water treatment

Mains water in many Romanian cities is hard, and limescale affects both the taste and the boiler. The concept ships with an IX Water filtration system sized for the water hardness at your location.
